Building Resilience: A Playbook for London and Peer Cities
The aim of this student project is to help the City of London develop a resilience playbook. This playbook will help guide the City’s efforts in anticipating, responding, and adapting to shocks and stressors, such as extreme weather events, trade disruptions, the housing and homelessness crisis, and ageing infrastructure. This will be done by comparing London’s vulnerabilities, strengths, and actions to date with other mid-sized Ontario municipalities. A key theme explored during this project will be the need for cooperation and coordination between government and non-state actors to address complex physical, social, and economic challenges.
